Terms of Service

1. Who you're contracting with
My Daily Read (the "App") is operated by David Fore, a sole trader (the "Seller", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service govern your use of the App. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
2. Using the App
My Daily Read is provided for personal reading. You agree to use the App lawfully and not to: use it for fraud or spam, infringe anyone's intellectual property, interfere with security (probing, scraping, malware), reverse engineer the service, or resell or redistribute it.
3. Your Content
The links you save belong to you. We process them only to generate your personal evening digest. We don't sell, share, or publish your reading list.
4. Third-Party Content
The App summarises and links out to articles published by others. We don't own that content and aren't responsible for its accuracy. Please respect publishers' terms when reading the full pieces.
5. Intellectual property
The App, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by David Fore and is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for your personal reading while your account is active. All other rights are reserved.
6. Payments, subscriptions, and our reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, depending on the plan you choose) at the price shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or from Paddle's customer portal at paddle.net; cancellation stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the current paid period. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy and Paddle's Buyer Terms.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our acceptable use rules. You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from within the App. On termination, your saved links and personal data are removed in line with our Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and warranties
We work to keep My Daily Read running smoothly, but the App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
9. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll let you know in the App or by email.
